国　名：几内亚共和国

Official Name: The Republic of Guinea

国　旗：由红、黄、绿三个垂直相等的长方形构成。靠旗杆的长方形为红色，旗飞角一边的长方形为绿色，黄色长方形居中。

自然地理：几内亚位于西非西岸，北邻几内亚比绍、塞内加尔和马里，东接科特迪瓦，南界塞拉利昂和利比里亚，西濒大西洋。几内亚境内地形复杂，全境分4个自然区：西部（称下几内亚）为狭长的沿海平原。中部（中几内亚）为平均海拔900米的富塔贾隆高原，西非3条主要河流——尼日尔河、塞内加尔河和冈比亚河均发源于此，被称为“西非水塔”。东北部（称上几内亚）为平均海拔约300米的台地。东南部为几内亚高原，有海拔1752米的宁巴山，为全境最高峰。沿海地区为热带季风气候，内地为热带草原气候。5－10月为雨季，11－4月为旱季。大部地区终年炎热，年平均气温为24－32℃。降水丰沛，年平均降水量为3000毫米。

Location: Guinea is located on the west coast of Africa. It is bordered by Guinea-Bissau to the northwest, Senegal to the north, Mali to the north and northeast, Cote d'Ivoire to the southeast, Liberia to the south, and Sierra Leone to the southwest. Guinea also has a western coast on the Atlantic Ocean.

语　言：官方语言为法语，各个部族也使用自己的语言，主要8种民族语言是富拉语、马林凯语、苏苏语、基西语、蓄尔泽语、托马语、康尼亚光语和巴萨里语。

民　族：全国有20多个部族，其中富拉尼族约占全国人口的35％，马林凯族占30％，苏苏族占20％，其它土著部落占15％。

宗　教：全国约85％的居民信奉伊斯兰教，8％信奉基督教，7％信奉原始宗教。
