国　名：塞舌尔共和国

Official Name: The Republic of Seychelles

国　旗：国旗为长方形，长宽比例2：1；由蓝、黄、红、白、绿五种颜色呈放射状的斜条组成。蓝色代表环绕岛国的蓝天和大海；黄色代表给予人类生命和光明的太阳；红色代表人民及其为团结和友爱的未来而工作的意志；白色代表社会正义与和睦；绿色代表土地和自然环境。

自然地理：塞舌尔位于印度洋西部和肯尼亚以东约1609公里处。塞舌尔由115个大小岛屿组成，其中马埃岛最大，全国90％的居民住在该岛。全境无河流。居热带雨林气候，高温多雨。年平均气温24℃，5－10月为旱季（凉季），12－3月为雨季（热季），11月和4月为季风过渡期。年降水量2000－4000毫米。

Location: The Republic of Seychelles, comprising 115 islands, is located in the western waters of Indian Ocean approximately 1,609 km. east of Kenya. Its biggest island is Mahe Island, in which 90% of inhabitants live.
