国　名：冈比亚共和国

国　旗：由深红、蓝、绿三个平行长方形构成。上方为深红色、下方为绿色，蓝色居中，蓝色上下带白边。

国　徽：两只狮子分别用前爪共扶一面兰色的盾，盾面上有曼丁哥族人使用的锄头和洛迦族人使用的斧头相互交叉的图案；盾的下方是刻有铭辞的纹章饰带，铭辞的意思是“进步、和平、繁荣”；盾的顶饰是一顶兰色武士头盔，一株绿色油棕树和从山冈上吐枝发芽的落花生。

自然地理：位于非洲西部，西濒大西洋，南、北和东部与塞内加尔接壤。属于热带丛林气候，7－9月为雨季，首都班朱尔平均气温在23到27摄氏度之间。内地部分地区气温可高达40摄氏度。

Location:Located in Western Africa, bounded to the west by the Atlantic Ocean andsurrounded on 3 sides by Senegal. The weather is tropical, with a rainy seasonfrom July to September. Average temperature in Capital Banjul ranges from 23 to27 degrees centigrade, while temperature inland can exceed 40 degreescentigrade.
